Terms of Business

Booking Fee and Payment
A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your booking This will be deducted from the final account.The Amount of this Fee is shown on your confirmed booking  form: The remaining balance is to be paid no later than one calendar month before your wedding.

Date Booked
If you wish to change the date after you have booked, we can do this this, as long as your new date is still free.  If it is not then you will lose your booking fee.

Booked Service

If you wish to increase the package from your original booking, we will try to accommodate. If you decide to decrease your package, we will still require the full agreed amount as per the original booking form.


If you cancel your wedding, you will lose your booking fee. If you reschedule your date, we will transfer your booking fee to your new date, if we are available. If you cancel 3-2 months prior   to your wedding we will require 75% of the outstanding balance. If you cancel one month or less before your wedding, then we require the full outstanding balance. All cancellations must be in writing.

Image Selection & Responsibility

If you choose to have me select the best images for your prints, book or albums, then my decision on what photos are included is final. I cannot be held responsible for any unwanted photos appearing in your prints, album or book.


Your CD/DVD will be ready approximately 4 weeks after your wedding. If you choose to have prints, an album or a book they will be ready approximately 4 weeks after receiving your image selection.

Images & Printing Rights
The amount of photographs you receive is an estimate, but you will receive all of the photographs taken during the event with full printing rights.

Display & Marketing

As the owner of the photographs I have the right to use your photos in any marketing material or
exhibition, I choose.

Any images or copies of images whether stored digitally or otherwise and any computer program including any source or object code, computer files or printed documentation relating to such images are protected by the Copyright and Design Act 1988. It is contrary to the Act to copy or allow to be copied photographically/electronically or by any other means an image created as part of this contract without the permission of The Photographer/s in writing.


The Photographer/s shall be granted artistic licence in relation to the poses photographed and the locations used. The Photographers judgement regarding the locations/poses and number of images taken shall be deemed correct.  Due to the vagaries of the weather and the willingness of subjects it may not be possible to capture all the images requested.

 Force Majeure or Act of God

The due performance of this contract is subject to alteration or cancellation by either party owing to any cause beyond their control.


In the unlikely event of the assigned Photographer being unable to attend your wedding due to unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to appoint another photographer to attend your wedding on our behalf to undertake the wedding photography to his/her best ability.

Limitation of Liability

In the unlikely event of a total photographic failure or cancellation of this contract by either party

or in any other circumstance the liability of one party to the other shall be limited to the total value of the contract.  Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Wedding Arrangements

The wedding arrangements booked are as detailed on the Wedding Booking Form attached. The Client shall notify the Photographer of any changes to these details in writing.  The Photographer/s cannot be held liable for delays or disruption in their delivery of the service until any changes are received, and acknowledged in writing.

Digital Files

All digital files remain the property of The Photographer/s.


Any complaints should first be raised by the Client with the Photographer/s in writing within 21

days from the date of receipt of images.

Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
